City Approves a New Bus Station For Auburn
The city of Auburn has approved the construction of a new bus terminal to better accommodate the needs of residents.
The site is the jury parking lot at Great Falls Plaza. It will make it an easier to get in and out of town and better for longer distance travel as well as provide easy access to Auburn's downtown.
The new complex will take up about 1500 square feet.
The new bus station will consist of a warm seating area and two public bathrooms along with a resting area for the drivers.
The city of Auburn has set aside $500,000 for the project, including some Federal grant money.
