Coffee Fungus Could Mean Higher Prices for Your Cup o’ Joe
It looks like we soon could be paying higher prices for a cup of coffee. Why? A fungus called, 'coffee rust' is ruining coffee bean harvests.
The fungus has caused more than $1 billion in damage across Latin American region. The fungus is especially deadly to Arabica coffee, the bean that makes up most high-end, specialty coffees.
