Community Warming Center is Now Open in Downtown Augusta

The Augusta Community ‘Warming Center’ opened Sunday, Dec. 16. It will be available for those in need every day until March 31. Supported by the United Way of Kennebec Valley, the ‘Warming Center‘ will be open from 9am to 4pm for those seeking a warm and safe escape from the cold.
The ‘Warming Center’ is at 44 Front Street, Augusta, opposite the riverfront gazebo. For further information call 480-0880.
The money you give to the United Way of Kennebec Valley helps support this effort.
Rob Gordon from the United Way of Kennebec Valley joined us on the Moose Morning Show to talk about the ‘Warming Center.’
