Cony HS Hits An Iceberg

Yeah, so the headline might be just a little bit deceiving, but if you look closely at this picture, it does appear as though the old Cony HS on the rotary actually smashed into a big'ol'berg! And the rest is history...and English and math and science and home ec and PE and....

Facebook fan Casey Begin saw that I was posting about this old landmark resembling the RMS Titanic whose fate was sealed one cold lonely night in the North Atlantic. Here, you can see the old ship has been resurrected and reformed into an old high school. Unfortunately, it's fate was the same.. and the school crashed and sank. Luckily my bride and I, pictured atop the educational vessel, escaped with only minor cuts and bruises... we floated on a door down to Water Street.
