Cumberland County Civic Center Opened on March 3, 1977 (38 Years Ago Today)

On this day (March 3) in 1977, The Cumberland County Civic Center opened in Portland. The arena is now named the Cross Insurance Arena and its first show was ZZ Top. Do you have a favorite memory of the venue?

Over the years working at 92 Moose, we’ve given away tons of tickets to different shows at the arena.

I’ve seen, 3 Doors Down with Staind, Kelly Clarkson, New Kids On The Block, Toby Keith,  just to name a few acts at the Cumberland County Civic Center, how about you? Do you have a favorite concert you've seen at the now named Cross Insurance Arena?
