If you recently bought a car from Darling's Auto Group, give yourself a pat on the back because you helped raise a pile of money for local high schools.

According to WABI TV, for each car purchased during the recent basketball tournaments Darling's set aside $100 to be donated to the high school of the buyer's choosing.

The money raised, $29,000 in total, will go to support local Project Graduation events.  For those who don't know, Project Graduation events offer high school seniors fun, safe, chem-free post-graduation parties.

It's the third year they've done this promotion.  Last year, it raised $17,000.
