UPDATE: The song has been removed.

It's no debate that Demi Lovato's "Cool For The Summer" is one of the songs, if not the song, of summer 2015. From the sexy, catchy chorus, to the hot summer motifs, to the neon-drenched, bombastic video, "Cool For The Summer" introduced us to a whole new Demi this year—and we like it.

Unfortunately, summer is on its way out, which means it's time for Demi to hone in on a new single for the forthcoming autumn season. Luckily though, it looks like the pop princess already has a new single selected, according to an alleged leak today.

A new song called "Confident" leaked onto the web this morning, and the track is being touted as the next single off Demi's as-yet-untitled, forthcoming fifth studio album with Island/Hollywood Records. And as hardcore Lovatics probably already know, the CEO of Demi's label confirmed during the iHeartMedia summit earlier this year that the singer's post-"Summer" radio single would indeed be called "Confident." (Fun fact: It's also been reported that "Confident" was supposed to serve as the leading single from this era, before being changed last-minute to "Cool For The Summer." A wise and seasonal choice, we say!)

So, what does "Confident" sound like?

Basically, it's another bold pop offering from the former Disney star and pop-rocker, this time leaning a little more urban with hip-hop inspired beats, a club-ready horn intro, and major declarations of, well, confidence. The track also gives us some serious late-2000s club-pop vibes, with sonic nods to sassy acts like the Pussycat Dolls and Kristinia Debarge.

"Confident" was written by Lovato, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, and Max Martin, who also produced the track. The single is rumored to impact radio starting in September. What's wrong with being, what's wrong with being confident? Uh-uh-ha!
