Downeaster Goes Off the Rails in South Portland

There was another mishap with the Downeaster today (04/14/15) but no injuries were reported.

This afternoon the Downeaster, train #686 was slowly heading through South Portland southbound when it derailed, causing a few delays.

According to the report, none of the passengers on board were injured and will be brought to Boston, most likely by bus.

The incident happened near Fore River and the Sprague tank farm.
