37 years ago Red Sox catcher, Carlton Fisk hit that 12th inning home run to win game 6 of the 1975 World Series against the Reds. It’s the home run seen where Fisk is waving the ball fair. That home run also inspired the name of the left-field foul pole at Fenway Park calling it the Fisk Foul Pole. Fisk last night was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence or DUI for short. He was found by New Lenox, IL police in a Ford F-150 which had a flat tire, an open bottle of vodka in the truck and seemingly Fisk was asleep behind the wheel. Get this, he was found in the middle of a corn field? Build it and they will come? He refused a blood alcohol test; his truck was impounded and was released the next day (meaning today).
