Eddie Van Halen is Not Dead – Another Internet Death Hoax

Eddie Van Halen is the latest in a string of celebrity death hoaxes. Eddie is alive and well. I just wanted clear the air, as he is after all one of my favorite guitarist of all time. It’s really a toss up between Eddie Van Halen and Slash.

Of the rock bands, Van Halen is up there as well as one of my favorites. I’d still put Def Leppard first because of the memories attached to the album Hysteria but VH is a close second or third.

Eddie Van Halen was the one who created or made famous the two fingered tapping guitar playing method. Nowhere is his method more prevalent than in “Eruption.”
