Elevation Burger Opens in the Marketplace at Augusta to Good Reviews on Friday Morning!
My buddy, Roger Pomerleau, gave me the heads up. A soft opening for the new Elevation Burger in the Marketplace at Augusta from 11-2 (Friday, 3/20). Mac and I headed over and got in line for a beefy treat. I had offered to buy his lunch because he had just helped me. Lo and behold, they were giving away lunch for free! Does that exonerate me?
I love the big, bright interior and the fact that the menu is quite simple. Burgers and chicken sandwiches and fries (along with a few other choices). I do like simplicity because I have a hard time deciding if there are lots of choices.
We got our burgers and selected our drinks (I love the computerized fountain drink dispensers...tons of flavors to choose from. I got vanilla Diet Coke).
So how was it? Unbelievable. Look at that burger! Happiness in a bun, I tell ya! And the fries? I couldn't stuff 'em in my pie hole fast enough!
Welcome to Augusta, Elevation Burger. And to the manager, Joe Lavezzi. I have a feeling you and I are going to become very good friends!
