Established Downtown Augusta Bar & Lounge Closes Its Doors

After nearly five years of operation, Charlamagne's Bar & Lounge has closed.

Located in the old Chernowsky's Department Store on Water Street in Augusta, and known for its creative cocktails and live music, the establishment closed its doors on Friday night.

According to their Facebook page, their current family situation was the primary reason for closing.

Such a unique and cosmopolitan establishment will be missed.
