Expect Early Week Delays on the Turnpike in Litchfield

Starting today, August 3, traffic will be stopped along the Maine Turnpike in Litchfield, because of bridge construction.

According to the Maine Turnpike Authority the 25-minute stoppages will occur Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday as a rain date, in both directions between 10 pm and 5 am.

The stoppages are because of construction on the Lunts Hill Road bridge.

Please be prepared for delays. Message boards will be in place to remind drivers.
