Falcon’s Football Fundraiser Tonight at Dickey’s BBQ, Augusta

Coach Mac (James MacArthur) from the Mid Coast Falcons, a semi pro football team from central Maine, joined us on the Moose Morning Show. They have a fundraiser tonight (Thursday, September 6) at Dickey's BBQ, Bangor St., Augusta. Team members will be serving meals, signing autographs and meeting guests. The proceeds will go to helping the team with field improvements, funds needed for equipment. There will also be some t-shirts and mugs at the event for purchase.

The Falcons are a 3rd year team that practices in Augusta and plays home games at Larrabee Field in Knox. They support the local pee wee football teams and have many local players that went to schools in Augusta, Oakland, Watervile, Winslow and Skowhegan. They have already clinched a playoff spot this year and will be hosting at least one game of the playoffs.
