Those of you who miss pop punk's mid 2000s heyday, rejoice! Fall Out Boy are rumored to be gearing up for a reunion.

Details are scant, but Property of Zack says multiple sources have confirmed that the 'Sugar We're Goin' Down' band are getting back together. It's unclear whether the reunion will be for a tour, a new record or both, but a formal announcement is expected soon.

The news is hot on the heels of Pete Wentz's ex, Ashlee Simpson, releasing a new single rumored to be about him, called 'Bat for a Heart.' (Anyone who saw Wentz's leaked nudes knows how much he loves bats.)

The band went on hiatus three years ago, with each member pursuing their own side projects. Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley joined the Damned Things; Hurley also played for bands the Burning Empires and Enabler. Frontman Patrick Stump went for a solo career, releasing the critically acclaimed 'Soul Punk,' while Wentz, arguably the highest profile member of the band, joined the Black Cards. None of the projects achieved commercial success, leading industry insiders to speculate that a reunion was only a matter of time.

Previous reunion rumors circulated more than once in 2012, but the band adamantly denied them. Where there's smoke, there's fire, boys. Just release a single already!
