Fenway Opens Today With Heightened Security

Aside from the disastrous loss last night, it has been so far a decent start to the 2015 season for the Boston Red Sox. Today at Fenway is the Red Sox home opener set for 3:05.

Gates will open in just a few minutes (1:05 pm) and first pitch is slated for 3:05 pm as the Red Sox take on the Washington Nationals.

If you're going to the game at Fenway you'll find there is heightened security. New metal detectors to be precise. You'll have to remove cameras, phones and other metal devices from your pockets and put them on trays, however, wallets, keys and jewelery you can keep on your person.
