Food Network Star Season 10 Starts Tonight. Is it Weird I am Very Excited by This?

Season 10 of Food Network Star begins with 12 contestants all wide eyed and over confident. They start in Los Angeles to compete for their own Food Network show. I hate the first part of the season; the contestants are all so uncomfortable and awkward.

They get their first shot at doing this stuff for real and the mentors, Alton, Giada and Bobby, are…well…a little mean…that always makes me feel a little sad for the contestants. BUT after that, they will get to work preparing and presenting an appetizer at a Hollywood party, where E!'s Ross Mathews will help determine the best and worst of the contestants. Then more ‘critique’ of the cooks.

And I guess there is a Star Salvation, a Food Network web series.  So you get a bit of a second chance. HUMMMM….I guess we will find out more tonight (June 1, 2014) at 9p on the Food Network.
