Former Major Leaguer from Maine, Matt Stairs, Robbed!

If you're going to break into someone's house, steal their jewelry and try to pawn it, you should probably make sure it isn't a major league baseball championship series ring. An Old Town woman, Andrea Bouchard plead guilty to two counts of burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property. One of the burglaries was of Matt Stairs a retired slugger and first baseman who lives in the Bangor area. He played for Kansas City, St. Louis Cardinals, and even the Red Sox among others.  Bouchard was in cahoots with her husband who broke into homes all over eastern Maine.

Andrea gets four months in jail and has to pay $5000 in restitution.
