Four Great Maine Festivals You Need To Check Out This Summer
One of the things I love about Maine in the Summer are the festivals. And there are a lot to choose from! We've put together our list of some of the MUST ATTEND festivals coming up this Summer.

The International Homecoming Festival (Calais) - Taking place between August 9th and August 13th, it celebrates the relationship between cross-border towns Calais Maine and St. Stephen New Brunswick. Get all the details at the official website
Bucksport Bay Festival (Bucksport) - In late July, Bucksport becomes all about the kids! In 2017, the festival runs between July 21st adn the 23rd and will also be a part of the 225th anniversary of Bucksport. Get more details on their Chamber Of Commerce website
Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival (Litchfield) - The first one took place in 1991 and was a huge success. Now, there are two each year. 2017 will mark the 48th and 49th festivals! This year, they'll be held in mid June (14th - 18th) and late August (23rd - 27th) and will feature talent from Maine, Virginia, and Tennessee. Get more details at the Blistered Fingers site.
Boothbay Harbor Fest (Boothbay harbor) - One of the most loved festivals in this part of the state. This year, it runs September 1st thought the 10th and features a 5K and half marathon, fashion show, lots of live music, and more Get more details at the Boothbay Harbor Fest website
