It may be Valentine’s Day, but there is no love lost in tonight's two NBA matchups.

The association wraps up its first half of the season with two compelling games – the Heat visit the Thunder in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals and the Lakers host the Clippers in a battle for the City of Angels. The Eastern-conference leading Heat, led by the scorching hot LeBron James, knocked off the Thunder earlier this season and have won six in a row and 12 of their last 15, while OKC remains in the dogfight for the top spot in the West.

The Clippers continue to play some of the most inspired ball in franchise history and have defeated the Lakers in two meetings already this season. The Lakers come into tonight’s contest trying to put a disappointing and injury-riddled first half of the season behind them, while clawing their way back into the playoff picture.
