Gardiner 10th Anniversary Drive Out Cancer Challenge

Gardiner Area High School athletes are working together again this year to support the Harold Alfond Center For Cancer Care in Augusta. It's the '10th Anniversary Drive Out Cancer Challenge' beginning with a parade tonight (Aug. 22) weather permitting.

Joining us on the Moose Morning Show, to talk about all the events, were organizer Kristen Collins, and student athletes (Girls Soccer) Anna Chadwick, (Boys Soccer) Timmy Doyle, (Football) Garret Maheux, (Volleyball) Ellie Basinger, and (Field Hockey)Jillian Bisson.

All proceeds from admissions, concessions and raffle items, will go to the cancer center.

Schedule of games include:
8/23 (in the HS gym) Volleyball
8/24 (on Hoch Field) 6:00pm Girls Soccer, 7:30pm Boys Soccer
8/25 (on Hoch Field) 10:00am - 1:00pm Carnival & Touch a truck event; 3:30pm, Field Hockey, 7:00pm Football Game
