There will be a complete slate of activities going on all day in Gardiner.

Area Craft Fairs: Several schools, churches and organizations hosting these fairs

Yuletide Fair: United Methodist Church, 35 Highland Avenue, 9 am – 12:30 pm, Children’s Table, Baked Goods, Jams, Jellies, Pickles, Gifts, Hand Crafted Items, Totes, Bags, Purses, Ornaments, Mittens, Cookies by the Ounce, Country Kitchen.
Laura E. Richards School Craft Fair, 279 Brunswick Ave., 9am – 2pm
Pittston School PTA Craft Fair, 1023 Pittston School St., Pittston, 8am – 2pm

Christ Church Episcopal Craft Fair, 2 Dresden Ave., 8am – 2pm, Silent Auction, White Elephant Table, Foods & Crafts, a Luncheon, and much more.


Gardiner Augusta Lions Club Craft Fair, 10 Lions St., 8am-2pm, crafters and vendors and the usual bake table and white elephant table that an old fashion holiday fair offers, along with a tasty specials offered by our on site kitchen.


Face Painting & Coloring Contest, Gardiner Subway, 35 Bridge St., 1-3pm


Free Horse Drawn Wagon Rides – Ride in the same wagon that brought Santa in the parade throughout beautiful historic Downtown Gardiner. Pick up and drop-off at Johnson Park starting at 2pm, last pick-up is at 3:45pm.

Visits With Santa – get your chance to share your wish list with Santa, 5-7pm. Located at 149 Water St (directly across the library).

Story Time with Mrs Claus – at 149 Water St (directly across the library), 5-7pm.

Juggling & Comedy with Steve Corning – Johnson Park, 5pm

Book Reading: Merry Moosey Christmas – at Monkitree, 263 Water St., after the parade.

The Village Jeweler will have cookies in their store following the parade.

Cookie Walk, SpinOff Studio 405 Water St., 5pm-7pm. Buy a container, and choose from a variety of holiday cookies to fill it with. All proceeds benefit SpinOff Studio, a non-profit art center for adults with developmental disabilities.

And don't miss the Gardiner Parade of Lights starting at 4:30PM. Line-up is 3:30-4:00 and the parade starts promptly at 4:30PM. The parade is sponsored by Kennebec Savings Bank.
