Gas Prices Stable In Maine This Week, Down Slightly Nationally

Gas prices dropped nationally this week, but stayed stable here in Maine.

According the price monitoring site Gas Buddy, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine stayed at $2.33  a gallon, the same price as last week.

Nationally, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.281, which is down just over two cents from last weeks average.

Locally, the cheapest prices for gas we could find in Augusta were at the Kenoco Station at 336 Western Avenue, and at the Citgo Station at 670 Civic Center Drive, both of which are selling gas at $2.25 a gallon.

In Waterville, the cheapest gas found was at the Sunoco Station, on W River Rd and Webb Road,  which is selling gas at $2.25 a gallon.
