Want to hear a special song?  Well, 92 Moose is giving you the chance to do that this week AND you can help out a special charity at the same time.

The 92 Moose 'Request-a-thon' for Special Olympics Maine is coming up on the Mighty Moose on Thursday, June 6th. It will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be hosted by Jon, Renee and Mac of the Moose Morning Show!

How does it work? It’s simple!

All day long, we play songs for pay it can run the gamut from Rihanna to Barry Manilow to Hank Williams.  A minimum $20 pledge gets you a request.  Some exceptionally odd songs or very long songs might cost you a bit more, but the proceeds are going to a good cause. And don’t worry, we’ll be accepting cash, checks and credit cards, so there will be no reason not to donate!

The 92 Moose 'Request-a-thon' for Special Olympics Maine is powered by by Walgreens, which will have a special challenge for all other local businesses. Listen for Walgreens on the Moose Morning Show at 7:30 a.m., where they will be presenting a special $500 contribution with a challenge for other businesses to match that donation! We’ll also hear from other special guests during the day.

The 92 Moose Request-a-thon coincides with the Special Olympics Maine torch run through central Maine.  Police departments included in the run that day include, but are not limited to, Winthrop, Richmond, Gardiner, Hallowell, Augusta, Kennebec County Sheriff's office.
