Gifford’s Ice Cream Wins National Prize and Named ‘Ice Cream Grand Champion.’

Gifford’s scoops the prize and licks the competition! Sorry…couldn’t resist. Gifford’s Ice Cream has won the top ice cream prize at a national dairy product contest held earlier this month in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Skowhegan company was named the ‘Ice Cream Grand Champion’ at the 2012 World Dairy Expo for the third-straight year. They won the grand champion award for its vanilla bean ice cream, while also taking home awards for its French vanilla and toasted coconut ice creams, its orange sherbet and its black raspberry chocolate chip frozen yogurt.
