It has been long rumored that the

Boston Bruins were trying to get the classic played at the home of the New England Patriots, and several media reports out of Boston say it will happen on January 1, 2016.

Joe McDonald of ESPNBoston.com has confirmed the NHL's plans. The league will not make the official announcement until the All-Star game this weekend in Columbus.
