Golden Retriever Leads Massachusetts Owner To His Missing ‘Brother’
Penny Blackwell’s two Golden Retrievers, Baxter and Bailey, disappeared from her home in Sandwich, Massachusetts on September 26. Blackwell put up posters, tried social media networks, everything, but to no avail. Her neighbors and friends helped search for the dogs, but they couldn’t be found.
Then, on October 8, one of the people who had seen Blackwell’s Facebook post found a dog matching Baxter’s description. It was Baxter. Unfortunately, Bailey was nowhere to be seen.
This is where the story really starts to pull at the heart strings. Once Baxter was reunited with his owner, he led her directly back to his brother, who was still tangled in brush and unable to move.
