Houses and cars, they are the cause of frustration but you can’t live without them. For awhile now, I have been driving without heat in my 2007 Chevy Malibu. It was fine for the most part, just a little chilly and especially these last few days a little more uncomfortable.

Honestly, I still love the car. Even after 113, 000 miles it still rides smoothly and feels pretty much brand new. The funny thing is, the car had no heat and at the same time, the other day, it started overheating too. Kind of Ironic, don’t you think?

After some friendly Facebook advice I checked my coolant reservoir and it was low. I bought some antifreeze and in the car it went. I probably put in a cup or so of the 50/50 mix and the water temperature gauge stayed horizontal all the way from Auburn to Augusta. I'll have to keep an eye on the coolant level in case it’s leaking, but for $10 it seems both problems are solved. Heat is nice!
