Have You Ever Written a Fan Letter to a Celebrity? Did They Write You Back?

Have you ever written a celebrity a fan letter? What did it say, if yes, and did they respond?

At a Britney Spears ‘Meet and Greet” a Britney fan David LeCours, handed Britney a letter saying how much she helped him through his hardships. Britney was so touched by the letter she through a bodyguard asked for LeCours' address and wrote him back.

When I was young I was too cool to belong to any fan clubs but I did write a VJ at Much Music (A Canadian video channel like MTV back in the 80s and early 90s) a fan letter while taking broadcasting.

I wasn’t suave enough to play songs on TV so I had no desire to go on Much Music or MTV but he was one of my inspirations in becoming a radio DJ.

I can’t remember exactly what I wrote but remember writing the letter and mailing it off. The VJ’s name was Steve Anthony. He now does breakfast news on a local Toronto TV station.
