57.4 million dollars later, Maine has a really good radio communications system! The Maine State Communications (MSCommNet) was recently launched and will serve the entire state when emergency traffic needs to be disseminated.

As you can see by the map, they've carefully replaced the communications repeaters (towers that receive a signal and then re-transmit it) all over the state to assure there are few, if any, dead spots!

Naturally, this means noting to most people unless you can access it directly. That's why your ole pal, Jonny James, has provided a link for you that gives frequencies which you can program into your scanner.

Happy scanning, my friend!
