As a mom, I couldn't be more proud of my Emma as she becomes a teenager.  For her 13th birthday, Emma would like to collect as many donations between now and November 5th to give to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society.  In return, she doesn't want any gifts for herself.  Everything must go towards the fur babies looking for new homes.

There are many ways to help.  Currently, the KVHS is in desperate need of kitty litter, dry cat food, wet cat food, cat toys and much much more.  They will also take donations of old blankets, sheets and towels.  Here is a complete list of their needs:

Kitten Food (Wet & Dry)
Cat Food (Dry)
Cat Litter (Non-Clumping)
Dog Food (Wet & Dry)
Rodent Food (Rats, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Rabbit Food)
Fresh Greens or Vegetables
