Christian Savage from the United Way of Mid-Maine joined us on the Moose Morning Show talking about their 4th annual 'Stuff the Bus!'

This year's event will be at 3 area Wal-Marts, Monday, Aug. 7, from 10am-2pm. You can donate school supplies and backpacks for children whose families can not afford new supplies each year. 'Stuff the Bus' will be at Walmarts in Waterville, Skowhegan, and Palmyra.

You can also drop off donations at the United Way of Mid-Maine, 105 Kennedy Memorial Drive, Waterville, Waterville KVCAP, 97 Water Street, Skowhegan KVCAP, 26 Mary Street or Educare Central Maine, 56 Drummond Avenue.

Darling's Ice Cream for a Cause will be at the Waterville Stuff a Bus, from 10am-12n, and at Skowhegan, from 12:30pm-2:30pm.

Suggested donations include: backpacks, binders, colored pencils, erasers, glue sticks, highlighters, markers, notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, pocket folders, rulers., etc.

All donated items will be distributed to participating Mid-Maine school districts throughout August.

Participating School Districts: AOS 92, MSAD 49, RSU 18, RSU 59/MSAD 59, RSU 19, RSU 82/MSAD 12, RSU 83/SAD 13, MSAD 54, RSU 3, MSAD 53, MSAD 74.
