Plans are underway for the 6th Annual Homeless Veterans Benefit Concert. Legendary Maine country artist Debbie Myers began the event years ago by recruiting other musicians to perform a benefit for homeless veterans in Maine.

This year's show will be bigger than ever. It's on September 20, at the Augusta Civic Center. It's a full day of fun and great music from 12 noon until 11:30 pm.

Come listen to a host of local performers and see headlining Nashville artist Georgette Jones, daughter of the country legends George Jones & Tammy Wynet! All proceeds go to benefit the Veteran's Home Coalition of Maine! Get your tickets and more info at 712-2392!

Debbie Myers and Susie Whittington, from the Homeless Veterans Program at Togus Veterans Hospital, joined us with more information on the Moose Morning Show!
