This is what I still find awkward at times even after having a Facebook page for over seven years, friends together who don't know each other, but are together on your list. Now, friends aren’t awkward or strange, but all of them being one place, is still kind of weird to me.

I've always thought of Facebook, at least the social aspect of it, like hanging out at a food court in the mall or a fast food restaurant talking with your buds. Take that mental image and read on.

Life has phases, paths and forks in the road. When I think about it, I have childhood friends, high school friends, colleagues, friends I talk to face to face, friends I only converse with on Facebook, people I know in the business community, and of course family and listeners.

Now here comes the awkward or strange part that even today I’m not quite used to. Many of the friends I have and know, don’t know each other. It’s sort of like all of these different times in my life coming together.

I could have a listener comment on a status followed by a childhood friend. That in itself isn’t awkward, but at times it does feel strange to have a two or more people debating on about a subject or status update that don’t know one another.

Am I the only one that finds having different groups of friends all together odd?
