This is sweet Juliet and she is looking for her new home. This spayed domestic short hair kitty has lots of love to give. Juliet is about two and came in as a stray, so they do not know much about her past. What they do know is since she has been at the HSWA Juliet has been in one of the ‘cat rooms’ with other kitty cats waiting for homes and she has been fine. As you can see by her photo, she likes her cat-naps in the sunshine.  Her adoption fee is $125 includes her neutering and all her shots.  Juliet is at the Humane Society Waterville Area.

There are a number of animal organizations in Maine who are making it their mission to help animals find there forever homes.  You can find a county by county list or Petfinder.com is how I found my ShadowDog. Here is the list of some local shelters for central Maine that I know of, there is Humane Society Waterville Area and the Kennebec Valley Humane Society. We also have P.A.L.S. No Kill Cat Shelter, the Coastal Humane Society, the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. There are also the hardworking and wonderful people at Maine Greyhound Placement Service. There is also the Lincoln County Animal Shelter and Humane Society, the Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County and Humane Society of Somerset County. No matter where they come from, in my opinion, animals that come to our lives from shelters and rescue organizations are the best!
