Hyde School Student Goes to the Hospital For a Suspected Heroin OD

I don’t want to repeat this after writing about it a few weeks ago but people, including kids in high school stay off heroin. You’ve seen what it can do in Hollywood over the weekend.

It hasn’t become official but a Hyde School student was taken to Mid Coast Hospital because of a suspected heroin overdose last Friday night.

Friday night the boarding school officials reported few students were missing. That night, Police responded to a disturbance at the Shaw’s parking lot on Chandler Dr. where the student, an 18 year old woman originating from Connecticut was found and taken to the hospital.

After the unidentified student recovered, she was released to her parents. Luckily she survived but many don't.

This stems from a party which is now under investigation. The school says they're looking into the matter and they're calling it a "private matter."
