Okay. The headline is a tad misleading. I NEVER go to bed hungry. But I have a heck of a time deciding what I want to eat! That's a problem for a few in my family, but I think I'm probably the worst!

Earlier today, I thought about going to Rooster's and hanging out with my friends in the tap house. I knew once I got there, I'd take an hour figuring out what I wanted to eat. I wasn't even sure I wanted to go back into town again today. Well, I'm home so I guess you know the answer.

Since I decided to stay home, about an hour ago, I've had visions (and tastes) running through my head. I envisioned (and tasted) spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. As I was thinking about that, I thought I might like to have a Tobey's pizza. Then I thought, "I'll be doing a live broadcast from Tobey's (in South China) tomorrow so I can wait on that."

Suddenly it hit me! Norm's fried chicken or the China Dine-ah! Then I couldn't decide between them so I ruled them both out for tonight.

Does this ever happen to you? When we're out driving around I'll mention a restaurant (because Marie-Anne always wants ME to decide) and she agrees. Then we'll pass a different one (say a Chinese restaurant) and I'll say something like, "ya know, Chinese would be good, too."

"Just make up your mind!" she says, even though she had the first option to say where she thought we should go. Honestly, even if she HAD decided, I'd still throw a fly in the ointment if I thought of something better.

In the summer I love to grill. I thought about Michelle's pub burgers (my little girl taught me how to cook those) but I've had those the last three nights. So maybe hot dogs...but I'd have to go to Hannaford because we don't have any and, if I'm going to do that, I may as well go to Norm's or the Dine-ah. Ohhhh, then there's Subway!

Just about anything else, a decision is easy. When it comes to what, or where, to eat, not so much. Do you have this problem, too? Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go make a couple of peanut butter sandwiches for dinner. Time for deciding is over!
