‘In Loving Memory’ – Video Remembrance of Ghislain “Gus” and Casey Cloutier

A very touching video has been produced remembering Ghislain "Gus" and Casey Cloutier of Winthrop. The father and son died in a car crash in Leeds on Dec. 30.

The Cloutiers were headed from their Winthrop home to catch a bus in Auburn so Casey, 14, a student at St. Dominic Academy, could attend a hockey tournament. Gus was 49. They are survived by wife and mother Susan Cloutier and son and brother Chase, 12.

Casey’s aunt, Tammy Pierce told the Kennebec Journal:

They were the most wonderful father and son that anyone could ever imagine. Gus was extremely devoted and spent hours on the ice with Casey. Casey was an exceptional young man with the kindest heart of any young man I’ve ever known in my life.
