Is Carly Rae Jepsen ready to offer fans yet another good time? Some suspect she's inches away from releasing new music, and that her next LP might be a glittery nod to the '70s.

Jepsen, whose last album Emotion Side B dropped in 2016, recently updated her Instagram bio to read: "When you move it’s like a disco darling — all my dreams come true" (Billboard first caught the sentiment). And immediately, fans began to suspect that the note amounted to lyrics from a forthcoming track, which they deduced is called "Disco Darling."

"Omg disco Darling is coming!!" one wrote in her comments, while another noted "Disco Darling already has us SCALPED! save pop music and drop the single!"

Jepsen most recently insisted in a late 2017 Instagram Story that she was releasing new music soon.

And if "Disco Queen" is, indeed, coming, it would validate a handful of hints. In 2016, Jepsen told the Vancouver Sun, “I can’t explain what we’re doing right now, but we’re very much into disco-y things, whatever this next album may or may not turn out to be."

She also told The Fader "I really started [the new album] from a disco-inspired place...Like Donna Summer: dreamy, sexy disco..."

Jepsen's kept busy in recent weeks opening for the North American leg of Katy Perry’s Witness: The Tour. The February 6, 2018 show in Vancouver will be her last stop.
