Over the summer, Little Mix fans everywhere noticed that "Jealous" singer Nick Jonas had suddenly started following Jade Thirlwall on Instagram and was furiously liking her photos. Understandably, that got many wondering if the former Jonas Brother had developed a little crush on Jade. Now, thanks to a cute exchange on Twitter, it seems like it might just be the case.

During an interview this weekend with BBC Radio 1, host Alice Levine apparently called Nick out on his Instagram-liking spree, which the singer confirmed on Twitter by joking, "That awkward moment you get called out live on the air by Alice Levine for liking certain peoples' pics on Instagram."

The artist was in town for the Radio1 Teen Awards, which also saw Little Mix perform onstage. (Maybe Jade and Nick were able to have a moment backstage? Did she cast some "Black Magic" over him?)

Luckily for Nick, it seems as though the feeling may be mutual. Back in June, Little Mix were asked during an interview at the Captiol FM Summertime Ball about what they thought of the American pop star, to which Jade gushed, "I think he’s great! I absolutely think he’s spot on. You what it is I love about him? His song’s brilliant, he keeps himself fit, he does all this charity work, he built his own house!"

She went on to add (jokingly, we imagine), “I’ve got a shrine for him at home without abuot 20 posters, [but] I'm still collecting. Hopefully one day I can see him and see what happens. Sorry, I just getting really emotional because I really like him!"

To add fuel to the fire, today the band also retweeted Nick's post on their own Twitter page. Ah, young love/publicity!

In the meanwhile, if this particular pop romance takes off, Alice would just like you to know she's totally responsible:
