Red Sox DH David Ortiz is planning to retire at the end of the 2016 MLB season,

according to a report from FOX baseball reporter Ken Rosenthal Tuesday, citing unnamed sources.

As someone who has always loved the Red Sox, it's almost like I will have to retire with David. See what I did there? I called him David, because clearly we're on a first name basis.
