It Maybe 56 Degrees In Our House But Still We Won’t Turn On The Heat – You?

Fall is looming as I woke up this morning to a chilly world just like everyone else here in the Northeast. When I drove Dylan to school for 7 am it was about 40 according to the thermometer on car instrument panel and oddly there was frost on the windshield. It's only 40 not freezing which I thought was weird but I'm not a meteorologist.

No we haven't turned on the heat on the programmable thermostats in the house. There are a couple of dial versions upstairs but they're set at the lowest, 45. So I safely say our heat is still off. In the living room the thermostat read 56 as an inside temp at 7:45 am. Chilly and stubborn. Summer is not over yet.
