Well it may not technically be ironic, as we need dentists to reset our teeth after sweet foods every six months.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always felt like going to the dentist was like seeing the principal or having to give testimony or something. Why is that? We pay dentists to take care of our teeth. We should feel like we’re a client and not have the feeling we’re being reprimanded for less than stellar dental care at home.

Please know that all the dentists and hygienists I’ve had have always been nice to me except one, but it was 30 years ago and it was in a different era or maybe he was just authoritative? Hard remembering now as it was back in the early 80s.

I would never do this, but a co-worker and I were joking about going for a cleaning after eating 10 Oreos. Is that disrespectful?

Luckily my next cleaning isn’t until April, so I ‘m good to go and chow down on Oreos today!
