We knew Always Sunny cast like Danny DeVito might take additional projects over hiatus, but Jeff Goldblum leading an Amazon series? We will definitely, uh, find a way. The once and future Jurassic Park star will lead a new Amazon musician comedy alongside DeVito, featuring the two as “an iconic music duo from the past.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, the untitled half-hour comedy series will be written by Simpsons scribe Tim Long, and feature Goldblum and DeVito as a famous musical duo driven apart by years of infighting. So reads the synopsis:

An iconic music duo from the past, Matt Downey (Goldblum) and Arlo Finkleman (DeVito), are forced to reunite despite their longstanding hatred for one another. As the talented but strong-willed pair attempt to reconcile, they turn to the people who somehow manage to love these two incandescent idiots—their wives, ex-wives, children, managers, friends and lovers—all of whom turn out to be as brilliant, infuriating, and frustratingly lovable as Matt and Arlo themselves.

For what it’s worth, the new series would not count DeVito out of any future seasons of Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Stay tuned for further details as Amazon develops the comedy we never knew we needed.
