The Jonas Brothers are featured in the new issue of OUT, a gay publication, and they are open and chatty about several topics, such as their new music, which represents a change in direction from boy band teen pop to more of a rock sound. They also address the gay rumors that have followed them around for years.

One thing is for sure – the handsome Bros. Jonas do strike a few beefcake poses in the spread, showing themselves to be handsome and hunky. Is it hot in here or what? No, it's just the Jo Bros.

Nick Jonas, the youngest Jo Bro, admitted the one thing the band is "more comfortable with this go-round, rather than three or four years ago, is being more opinionated." It's their music and they will put their stamp on it.

Joe Jonas admitted that the band realized that you can't spend your career trying to please and reach everyone. He said, "Somebody’s going to find something negative. So we were like, 'Let’s just be who we are and have opinions — whether it’s on politics or music — and really show who we are as people.'"

Eldest Jo Bro and expectant father Kevin addressed the misconceptions of who they are, saying, "At the end of the day, I think people are surprised to know that we’re a rock band at our core. Things have started to shift where people are starting to feel the passion behind the art that we’re doing."

The gay rumors came up, which the boys gracefully and graciously denied. "We have a lot of gay friends and gay fans. It’s a boy band stereotype; people assume, but we don’t take offense," Joe mused.

Nick chimed in, "Prior to us being a band, I was a super theater geek. I loved theater and I still do, and I care about fashion, and I care about a lot of things that I feel like stereotypes are attached to."

They also talked about Miley Cyrus' twerkfest at the VMAs. They didn't LOVE it but the aren't calling for a full on twerk ban.

You can see the handsome Jonas gents pose in the behind-the-scenes video below. It's about 50 seconds of sexiness.
