I'm beside myself. Not only did the first shirt from American Women who Bear Arms, LLC, go to a young Maine woman who's a shooting enthusiast, it went to the daughter of a long time friend who just happened to be listening this morning!

Former Mrs. Maine International, Rebecca Pushard, called when I asked for a woman to model the shirt for a picture. She said her daughter, Kianna (who I've known since birth), loves to shoot and hunt and would love to do it.

"Come on in!" I said.

When they showed up, authors John Ford and Mark Nickerson were in the studio for an interview so, not only did Kianna get the first shirt but she also got to meet two fine retired Maine law enforcement officers. Oh, they both gave her autographed books, too. A pretty nice take for someone who had no plans for the morning but to go to school!
