Julia Clukey, who grew up in Augusta, ME and made the 2010 U.S. Olympic team in luge, is currently the first alternate for the 2014 Women's Luge team in Sochi. She has been, and continues to be a role model for all us, specifically for young women with her annual KVYMCA Camp for Girls. Off the ice, she has faced many challenges, including surviving brain surgery.
