Augusta Olympian Julia Clukey to Compete in Luge World Cup this Weekend in Lake Placid, New York [AUDIO]

We always love talking with Julia Clukey on the Moose Morning Show. Not only is she a great Olympic athlete from central Maine, but she is just a wonderful role model. She’s on a fantastic run too!
Just last weekend Julia finished 9th at the Luge World Championships. This, after winning the US National Championships earlier this year. She is have the best season of her career. She’s even been highlighted in Sports Illustrated Online.
This weekend she’ll be competing at Lake Placid, NY in the World Cup. Julia told us she was excited because her family would get to see her compete live. We just might get to see her too, as it is expected to be shown on the NBC Sports Network.
More great news from Julia! She will be back in Maine this spring speaking at high schools. As she says, “I hope to share my story and the importance of good decision making and responsibility with as many students as possible.” If you would like her to come by your school go to clukeyluge.com.
