Kate Hudson is already repping Ann Taylor, the chic business-casual and working woman's clothing brand, by appearing in its advertising and on in-store displays. Now, Hudson, a MILF with two sons at home, will take her duties a step further and co-design a capsule collection for the brand.

This is Hudson's first time designing and she will collabo with the company's creative director Lisa Axelson on a summer collection, according to Us Weekly. (That way, if it tanks, Hudson won't have to endure the blame or the responsibility on her own, we're guessing.)

Hudson, whose style has matured since she had kids, will debut the capsule collection in May. She's often seen in attire that's either glam or boho chic, but the new line is said to be inspired by her red carpet style.

That said, let's hope it's not her 2013 Golden Globes style, since that dress was kind of a mess. It was an Alexander McQueen gown, but it was too mature for her and the statement "power bitch" shoulders were overkill when paired with the choker collar.

K. Hud has said that she feels the "clothes at Ann Taylor are sexy, sophisticated and show true style confidence." So if you want to exude those same virtues -- and really, who doesn't -- then you'll want to snatch these off the rack when they go on sale this spring.
