Kelly Clarkson is not letting the haters get her down.

The immensely talented singer -- who just dropped her latest album, Piece by Piece, this week -- had the most epic response to a Twitter troll who wrote a series of seriously vile tweets that took aim at the "Heartbeat Song" singer's figure.

Katie Hopkins, a notoriously outspoken British TV personality (Us Weekly says she is apparently dubbed the "Most Hated Woman in Britain"), first targeted Clarkson back in February, calling her out via Twitter while the singer was on the Graham Norton Show:

When Clarkson's fans -- along with people who just plain thought Hopkins was way out of line -- fired back, Hopkins once again brought up the situation on March 3 (the day Piece by Piece dropped, no less!) to defend her original stance:

As for Kelly Clarkson's reaction? Well, when she spoke to Heat magazine about the topic, she just #ByeFelicia-ed the negativity straight outta there and kept right on shinin'.

"She's tweeted something nasty about me? That's because she doesn't know me," Clarkson reportedly told the mag (via E! News). "I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will."

"I've just never cared what people think," she continued. "It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family -- I don't seek out any other acceptance."

WERK. Kelly Clarkson is #tooblessedtobestressed and is certainly too busy with her new album, unbelievable talent, six-month-old baby girl and adorable family and all to even pay mind to people who can say such cruel things.
